Mexican Food is often a favorite choice of couples or families and friends as they vacation. With so many types of Southern Cooking in the restaurants all around the Smokies, we enjoy writing on some of the restaurants that as locals, we visit often and love.
Smoky Mountain Burrito is located on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It is next door to the Sonic Drive-In and across the street from the Country Tonight Theater. Access to the restaurant is easy and there is free parking in front and alongside the restaurant. There is a small area for outdoor dining where your view would be of the parkway and its many travelers.
Upon arrival, you will find a comfortable restaurant with booths, tables, and a small bar. They serve margaritas that come in Regular to Jumbo and Pitchers. We have discovered 1/2-price pitchers in the afternoons if you have a thirsty team! The House Margarita is delicious, they also have various flavors to choose from. The jumbo margaritas we enjoyed were $7.99 each, their regular margarita was $4.99 during their happy hour time. We visited recently at about 4:00 pm.
The menu offers a wide variety of delicious selections. You will find all of your favorites along with some specialties they will point out on the menu. We love the street tacos, but also everything else!
Are you a chips and salsa fan? When you arrive and are seated, the server will bring your chips and salsa and get your drink order. Delicious fresh salsa combines well with a jumbo margarita! They have many appetizers and dips you can choose from to order further. You can expect generous portions with the meal you order. Our meals were no less than top-notch and delightful, and we finished every bite.
We highly recommend this restaurant. Find a specially crafted menu items along with all of your favorite Mexican Cuisine. The steak, chicken, and shrimp are all cooked to perfection. If you are a ground beef lover, Smoky Mountain Burrito does not use ground beef in their menu items, only steak for beef choices. The carnitas are possibly the best in town!
